EAMCET full form is the Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance test. It is a state-level examination conducted in two states of India which are: Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The main purpose of this examination is to select students for admission to colleges that offer engineering, medical, and agricultural courses. 

What is the Full Form of EAMCET?

As mentioned above the full form of EAMCET is Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test, the EAMCET examination is conducted by the Council of higher education of Andhra Pradesh and the Council of higher education of Telangana separately. The examination organized by Andhra Pradesh is named AP EAMCET and the examination organized by Telangana is named TS EAMCET. Both examinations are accepted in private and public institutions of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana respectively for taking admissions in engineering, medicine and agriculture courses.

The TS EAMCET full form is Telangana State Engineering, agriculture and Medical entrance test. The exam is state-based . The examination is conducted for the students who wanted to take admission in courses related to Engineering, medicine and agriculture in public/private institutes in Telangana are mandated to appear in the examination. The examination is based on computer mode for UG-level courses. 

About AP EAMCET

The AP EAMCET refers to the Andhra Pradesh Engineering, agriculture and Medical entrance test. The examination is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University situated in Kakinada for taking admission to different courses offered by Andhra Pradesh’s public/private institutions. The examination tests the candidate's knowledge and skills in subjects like physics, biology, chemistry and mathematics. The AP EAMCET is conducted in the month of May

What are the Eligibility Criteria for AP EAMCET/ TS EAMCET?

  • Nationality: The candidate must be the indian citizen
  • Resident: The candidate must have a valid resident of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh

  • For medical courses, the candidate must clear 10+2 with a minimum of 45 % with physics, chemistry and mathematics subjects and biology as an optional subject.  
  • For medical the candidate must clear 10+2 with the relevant subject which includes physical sciences, natural sciences, etc 

What are the Different Stages in EAMCET?

To take admission to public/private institutions that accept Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET full form) score students must qualify  the following stages.
