IES full form is Indian Engineering Services. It is a national level examination conducted by UPSC for selecting candidates in multiple Govt. sectors like telecommunication, railways, power, etc. If you are curious to discover details about IES then read the article.
As mentioned above the full form of IES is Indian Engineering Services conducted by UPSC to select the candidates for multiple posts in Govt. sector. The candidates are designated with class 1 officers who will work as engineers in Govt projects after clearing the exam. It is a written examination which includes six tests which have to be completed in four stages. The exam is held once a year. It is mandatory for all candidates to clear six tests. After qualifying the exam, the next round includes an interview. The President of India appoints IES officers on the recommendation by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC)
