SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria 2023

  • The candidates must register as a new user by clicking on ‘new user’ tab
  • Enter the login details such as name, parents name, date of birth, e-mail address, phone number etc
  • Click on ‘submit’ to register
  • Using the registered details, login to fill SSC CGL application form in the new window
  • Fill the required details and upload the documents
  • Check the uploaded documents such as photographs and signatures
  • Review the details before submitting the form
  • Click on ‘submit’ option and make payment
  • The fee payment can be done online

SSC CGL Age Limit Relaxation

As per guidelines, SSC offers a provision of age limit relaxation for candidates from all reserved categories. Candidates must keep in mind the age limit before filling out the SSC CGL Application Form as providing mis-informatuon can lead to rejection in the candidature. Relaxation of the upper age limit for the various categories is given below:

SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Date 2023

As per details, SSC CGL Tier 1 exam was scheduled to be conducted from 14th July to 27th July, 2023. The admit card for the same has been released on 8th July, 2023. The admit card can be downloaded using login credentials such as registration number and date of birth. The admit card consists of various important details such as exam date, time and venue to know the important details regarding the exam. 

SSC CGL Selection Process 2023

SSC CGL 2023 exam will be conducted Tier-wise where Tier-I and Tier-II exams will be conducted online, Tier-III will be a pen and paper based exam and Tier-IV will be a computer skill test as per guidelines. SSC CGL Tier 4 Exam Pattern 2023

  • Data Entry Speed Test (DEST)- In DEST, the candidates are required to type 2000 words in 15 minutes on a computer in English language.
  • CPT (Computer Proficiency Test)- CPT Test is conducted to check a candidate's proficiency in Word Processing, Spreadsheets usage and Creation of Slides. The duration of each module in CPT will be 15 minutes one after the other.

SSC CGL Document Verification

The candidate who qualifies all the stages of SSC CGL Exam2023 needs to go through the document verification process. The documents required to be produced before the committee are:

  • ID Proof
  • Passport size photograph
  • Educational Qualification certificate
  • Employe ID (if any)
  • Caste Certificate (if any)
  • Driving License/PAN/Aadhar

The preference for various posts/departments have to be selected by the candidates before the declaration of SSC CGL final results 2023.
